In the event you terminate your customer relationship with us, or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the policies and practices described in this notice.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

As a trusted financial institution, we collect, retain, and use nonpublic personal information about individual customers, allowed by law, to provide products and services to our customers. "Nonpublic personal information" means financial information that relates specifically to you and that is not available from a public source (such as government records, phone books, or widely distributed media). For example, the fact that you have a deposit account with us, and the balance of that account is nonpublic personal information. In contrast, the fact that you have a mortgage loan with us would not be nonpublic personal information if your loan is secured by property that is located in any county or state where mortgage loans are recorded in government records. We may collect nonpublic personal information from such sources as:

  • applications;
  • information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others;
  • information we receive from a consumer reporting agency; and
  • information from persons you authorize us to contact in reviewing your applications or transactions with us.
  • internet cookies collected (www.firstga.com)

We also will disclose certain of your nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties (persons or companies who do not own or control, are not owned or controlled by, or are not under common control with, the Bank) under certain circumstances (as described below). Any nonpublic personal information shared is conducted in strict adherence to applicable law. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted under law.
